The Logitech Cordless Controller incorporates 2.4GHz technology. A 50-hour battery life coupled with 20-feet or more of range provides the ultimate cordless solution. Included with Logitech´s Cordless Controller is a compact 2.4GHz receiver, which connects to the PlayStation 2 console´s controller port. While in operation, the receiver and controller are always "channel hopping," as they constantly check each other´s channel to confirm that the connection is reliable and interference-free. An eight-way pressure sensitive D-Pad and eight action buttons provide many different gaming options. A "mode" button will switch the functionality of the gamepad between digital, analog and driving modes. The vibration functionality can easily be turned off when it is not needed.
