A year after the God of Gamblers, Ko Chun (Chow Yun Fat), asked Little Knife (Andy Lau) to be his disciple, Little Knife is rapidly rising in the gambling world, becoming so successful that he is nicknamed "The Knight of Gamblers". Another up-and-comer named Sing (Stephen Chow), who gives himself the title of "The Saint of Gamblers", would also like to become a disciple of Chun and seeks the help of Little Knife in finding Chun.
